Providing design development fabrication and installation support for SYnergy’s Water Filtration and Chemical Treatment Plant at the new Lend Lease Barangaroo Development (Darling Harbour) near Sydney CBD. Project included onsite design of HDPE pipework, HDPE chutes and HDPE air ducting. Scope of work included design and fabrication of HDPE pipework flanged and butt welded, and installation of underground pipework. Blackpoly completed the 24-hour management of all dewatering and rainfall catchment areas from ump wells through to subsea discharging

Worona Pipeline Bridge Pilon Encasement

Blackpoly completed the removal of an existing 760 metre section of de rated DN450 tailings pipeline and installed a 500mm pn20 pipeline. There were several challenges involved within the project with live services around major excavation areas and live powerline easements along the pipeline route. The pipeline was successfully commissioned during a major shutdown outage to ensure the mining operation could continue to operate unaffected.

Construction of dual 630mm PN16 Tailings Pipelines, 3200Mtr

Construction of a return water 160mm pipeline for the Blayney dewatering facility to Cadia Valley
Construction and installation of 5640mtr 450mm and 400mm pipelines and pumps for the dewatering of the open pit
Removal of an existing 2300mtr 630mm PN16 tailings pipeline. Relocation of materials and construction of a 2300mtr emergency dewatering pipeline
Construction of 450mm to 160mm pumping manifolds and pipelines for the dewatering of URCD Raw Water dam facility
Installation and management of a four-stage dewatering system throughout the open pit
Fabrication and site installation of high pressure 630mm Y junctions and slurry knife gate valves throughout the tailings distribution pipelines

Blackpoly successfully completed all mechanical and civil onsite installation of steel and HDPE pipe spooling and valves. During a scheduled outage, the existing piping infrastructure was excavated and removed and spools were installed to successfully commission the pumping station
